Chaggle is different from other chat software platforms because it creates a new chat room, filled with new people, on any site you visit. It allows you to see who's surfing that site with you and gives you the power to reach out to them and connect through chat.

Chat with Chaggle
Chaggle chat sessions happen at the domain level, or the main "home" page of a site. For example, when you're at www.craigslist.com you'll be able to chat with everyone else on that domain&mdashno matter what page they're viewing within that site.

Shout it out!
Use Shout Out to send your comments to even more Chagglers—in the chat room, on the Chaggle Shout Out page, and on your personal Chaggle profile. Shout Outs include the URL for the page you're shouting about and up to 140 characters of text &mdashso when you find something worth sharing, like a funny video, a new web site, or a big sale... shout about it! NEW! Now you can tweet your Shout Outs and share them with Twitter followers. Just check the Active checkbox under Also Post Shout Outs To on your Chaggle profile.

Leave Crumbs as you go
Think of Crumbs as comments you post about a specific page. You can leave Crumbs anywhere to let others know what you think. Find a great deal on a GPS unit at REI.com? Leave your comment right on the product page&mdashonly Chaggle users viewing that same page will see your Crumb. It's a great way to rate products and vendors or share thoughts about things you read or see.

Park it
Park gives you the freedom to stay in one chat room while you surf the web—literally parking the Chaggle sidebar as you visit other sites. So, if you like a particular room and the people you've connected with, you can continue the conversation as you surf other sites.. Just click Park to lock your Chaggle sidebar and stay in the room; Click it again to unpark Chaggle and see who's online visiting other sites along with you.

Read, Reply, Rate
Respond to other Chagglers' comments using the reply feature. Simply click and type your response&mdashit will appear in a different color, beneath the original comment AND as a separate conversation thread in a separate window that fellow Chagglers can follow and join. Find something you really like&mdashor dislike&mdashand rate it. Simply click to choose thumbs up or thumbs down.

Play favorites with Chaggle Buddies
Find Chagglers you really connect with and invite them to be your buddies. Your Buddy List page gives you fast access to your best Chaggle friends and their profiles, as the Chaggle Mail they send. You can also invite Chaggle Buddies to join you in private chats&mdashjust click , select a buddy's name, and click Invite User.

Users can send email messages to each other through the Chaggle interface so that users can see them whenever they sign in.

Get personal with Chaggle Chat
Invite your Chaggle Buddies to join you in private chat rooms for personal conversations. Keep it between you and just one or invite as many friends as you like. To start a private Chaggle Chat, just click , select a buddy's name, and click Invite User.

Users can send other users a virtual "Thanks". When you sign up, you get 100 and you go from there.

Got a web site of your own? Add Chaggle widgets and get people talking right on your site. Choose a widget for live, active Chaggle chats or a widget for Shout Outs. Choose Create Free Widgets from your Chaggle account page , click CREATE WIDGET, and follow the instructions to add the widget to your site.
